Rabbi Shneur Silberberg is the director (since June 2009) the Hyman and Sonia Blumenstein Outreach Division of the Sara and Morris Tugman Bais Chabad Torah Center. Rabbi Shneur and Zeesy Silberberg offer home and office visitations, classes, and assistance and information in all areas of Judaism. They also offer a vast array of youth programming, with a special focus on young adults. ‘Rabbi Shneur’ as he’s referred to, to avoid confusion with his father Rabbi Elimelech Silberberg, teaches Torah on campus, alternating weekly between U of M,  MSU and  his Wednesday Night Torah and Pizza.
Shneur Silberberg , the son of Rabbi and Rebbetzin Silberberg of West Bloomfield, was ordained at Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Brooklyn, New York. As a student rabbi he served in Russia and in Kenya, spent Jewish Holidays in Israeli Army bases, taught torah to inmates in a ‘Yeshiva in Prison’ program in W. Virginia, and directed numerous summer programs for youth in the United States and Israel.
